Dear Daddy
Don’t avert your eyes
If you do you will never understand
The pain you’ve caused
The mess you’ve left
All due to your selfishness
You think you’ve done nothing
And yet agony lines the path you’ve traveled
So selfish in your thinking
Blame falls on all around you
But true to form, you remain unscathed
Never touched by the blame you have so freely thrown upon those around you
For the things that go awry in your life
After so many years
Shouldn’t realization set in?
The light bulb goes on like in a flash
It is you who is the catalyst to your downfalls
The key to your unhappiness
All relationships tainted or destroyed
Because of you
No, that light will never flicker on
The blame will remain as such:
On the shoulders of the innocent
Never coming near you
Leaving you in your own delusional state
Left to curse the names of all those who have “betrayed” you
