This movie has it all. I'm going to give a brief description of it (thanks to IMDB.com) for those who haven't seen it yet.

"Eisenheim is a magician in early 1900's Vienna, who falls in love with a woman well above his social standing. When she becomes engaged to a Crown Prince, Eisenheim uses his powers to free her and undermine the stability of the royal house of Vienna."

The movie is definitely not one that you can doze off during. The story is set up in a way that the viewer is meant to think they are kept in the dark, when really all the clues were set before them. Brilliantly done. The acting is really well done (Jessica Biel giving a surprisingly good performance) as well.

I know Anna has seen it but what about everyone else?

All I can say is that it is better than the description makes it sound.

My brother has tried to make me watch it a few times, but I have refused based on the description. It's only once I actually did that I appreciated it as a movie.

Definitely not one of my absolute favourites, but pretty good still.

Funny thing, I just found it on tv...  I missed the first half hour though.

A very good mystery, but I still don't have the whole story.  Maybe not mystery, but just one of those things where you don't realize what happened until quite literally the last minute.  ;D
